Answer to question 1:
Sterling North and I are alike because we both have a pet that we do everything with. I sleep with my cat in the same bed just like Sterling slept with Rascal. I also give my cat things she probably shouldn't have like rubber bands and table scraps. We are different because Sterling only has a dad and I have a mom and a dad. Another reason Sterling and I are different is that he loves to go outside a lot and I tend to stay inside more than outside. Sterling has a wide variety of pets like: woodchucks, snunks, a crow, and a racoon while I only have cats. Sterling North and I are alike and different in many ways.

Sterling North and I both have a great amount of pets. I have 7 pets, but Sterling.......I have no idea how many pets that he has, but i know that it is a lot.We are VERY different because he is a boy, and I am a girl. Also because he works on his canoe for fun, when I do pretty much anything else than build stuff. He cares about pretty much everything that I do, like family, pets, and other things. We're different when i comes to his family situation: His mom died, His dad is barely home, and he's almost always alone. I live in Bristol, CT and he lives in Wisconson.

I have not had a friend or pet that is/was like Racal. Yes I have have to make the decision to leave my friends and come to this school instead. I agree, because the reason why Racal left, was because of nature, and since Sterling took Rascal away from nature so long, I can't imagine what it would be like liveing with raccoons my whole life, then finally meating one of my own kind.
I have nothing in common with sterling and i've never had a pet like rascal. So i will write about what i don't have in common with sterling. Sterling loves to fish. I don't really like to fish sterling made a canoe in the book. I don't think i could. Sterling is broke. I am not. And last but not least sterling has tons of pets. I have none.

I have had a friend like Rascal before. Annemarie have been best buds forever until she moved in 1st grade. We were just like Sterling and Rascal because we understood eachother just like they did. If Annemarie or I were feeling down, the other one would try to cheer us up. We also liked the same things we would always help out eachother. Rascal and Sterling get along just like Annemarie and I. I have never had to make a big dicision like Sterling had to,except I do agree with his choice, because Rascal is a racoon and belongs in the wild. He needs to be aroung other racoons and learn what they do. Also, Sterling pampers Rascal, and he needs to learn how to live on his own. This is why I think Sterling made the right dicision.
Sterling and I are in common because we both have pets that follow us around and do stuff wite us. We also both care very much about the enviorment. We are diffrent because my parrents would NEVER let me have any of the pets that Sterling does or do a lot of things that he does.

Sterling and I are different and similar in many ways. Sterling loves animals and enjoys taking care of a lot of pets. I also have a love fro pets especially dogs. I may not have alot of pets but i would really love to have as many as Sterling. Sterling and i have very differnt home lifes. He has a lot more freedom because no one is really there to tell him what he can and can not do. He gets to build a canoe in the middle of his living room. He can also leave the house whenever he wants and take home pets from the woods that he fould and actually keep them. Whether its a dog or a racoon it really doesnt matter. I would never be aloud to do any of that. That is how Sterling and I are alike and not alike.
I agree with Sophia, because I don't have any pets, but I love dogs. Also, I would really like to have as many pets as Sterling, because it would be fun to have a lot of pets around when none of my friends could play.
I don't have a pet that I do everything with like Cole does, but I would really like to have a dog to do everything with.
I think that I have afew things in common with Sterling. I am adventurous like him and I think that I would do the same things to protect Rascal. Also, I agree with his decision to let Rascal go. He would be lonely without his own kind

i have had a friend like rascal. his name is henry hes a dog. he sleeps in my bed somtimes. hes a choclate lab. i agree with sterlings decision. becouse rascal is an animal and he deserves to be free. but i dissegree becouse he raised rascal and rascal might not live in the wild alone.
i agree with reilly about having to make the decison to go to this school. i think i might have been hard for a lot of people to leave all their friends at their other school. i also agree that rascal left because of nature and thats where his home is and he belongs in the wilderness.

I am similar and different from Sterling in many ways. I like the outdoors like canoeing and camping and sterling also does. I like animals also and being outside for the entire day, just listening to birds or gliding across a lake in a canoe or Kayak. I think thatbuilding your on canoe would be pretty awesome. Sterling is different from me because his parents don't take care of him and I don't have 3 older siblings that are married. Me and sterling are the same but different in so many ways it is amazing

Sterling and I are alike and different in many ways. The first way we are alike is that we both love the outdoors and nature. WE both like camping in the outdoors and playing with animals. Sterling and I are different because I don't have any pets at all. Sterling, on the other hand has a raccon, a dog, skunks, chipmunks, and poe the crow. I am also alike with Sterling because he does other stuff for fun, like work on his canue and play with raccons. Me, I usually play games for fun and i don't like raccons at all.
If I was in the same Situation as Sterling was I would let Rascal go too. Rascal's a raccoon, he's a wild animal, I wouldn't let rascal go if he was like a dog or cat. If i was Sterling i probaly would have let rascal go when the nieghbors said he needed to be crated, i'd rather let my pet go rather than force him to live his life in a crate. I admit it would be hard to let rascal go, nomatter what, he was Sterling's best friend. Sterling had a bond with rascal, he had a bond with all his pets, that was because he live most his life alone. with his dad at work all day, his sisters gone and his brother at war you need a friend to stay with you, sterling had pets for friends, and to let go rascal was like a friend moving friend, or worse. but it was, spring and rascal was in crate all day, his life was in a crate, he had to let go.
Jack i disagree. rascal was made for nature. remember when sterling first got rascal, sterling do anything and rascal knew how fish. rascal survival skills developed nateraly. i think rascal would be fine in the wild alone.

I am like Sterling because I love to be outdoors and would love to have a pet raccoon. I agree with Caitlin that Sterling made the right decision to let Rascal go because he is awild animal.I agree with Sophia that Sterling has a lot more freedom then me because no one ever tells Sterling what to do and someone always tells me what to do.

Sterling and I have a lot in common because we are both boys and i have i pet that i like a lot like rascal. I also like to go fishing. I wish i was like sterling because he doesn't have his dad around that much it would be cool for a couple days but after a while it would get boring with only your animals for company. Also he has to feed all the animals and take care of them it must be boring.

Sterling and i are different because I am a girl and sterling is boy. We're also different because i have 5 cats 3 dogs and 2 very smelly fish which is 10 pets. Sterling has a Racoon, skunks a dog and many other interesting pets which is WELL... i dont know how many animals. I had a freind that i had to leave at my old school too like caitlyn did and we both made the decision to leave our friend and make new ones at k-o. Kind of like rascal chose to leave sterling. But rascal will make new racoon friends and everything will be alright.
I agree with dylan too because my parents woulD NEVER EVER let me have a racoon!!!

I agree with sophia that sterling gets a lot of freedom. I also agree with cole that sterling likes being outdoors and has lots of pets.
sterling North and I are alike because we both love the out doors like going for walks or hiking. And we both love animals even though I only have two pets a dog an a rabbit and sterling has many more I still love pets but I wouldn't be allowed to bring home a wild raccoon and thats a way that we are different I don't get as much freedom as sterling and my parents rules are a little bit more strict like they wouldn't have let me carve/make a canoe in the living room like sterlings dad let him do.

1.I'm like Sterling in a few ways. I have lots of pets like Sterling, only instead of a Racoon, crow, woodchuck, skunk, and saint brenard I have 2 cats, 2dogs,and 2 lizzards. Another way I'm like Sterling is that I some times sleep with my cat and feed my dog people food. I am also very different from Sterling because he almost never sees his siblings and I see my brother every day, so I have some one to hang out with at home ulike Sterling. Also I go outside alot, but I don't go fishing every day or chill in the forest.
I agree with Jack that it was good to let rascal free but that now it will be hard to adjst to living in the wild after gtting used to drinking soda and sleeping in beds.

I think I am very differnt from Sterling North in so many ways, such as I have many human friends to hang out with play with but he only has animals like rascal. Also I am extermely close with my family. for example We eat dinner with each other evsupport every night and we suport each other by going to sports games or other important events. But Sterlings family is all over the place his sisters moved out his brother is at war and his father doesn't try to interact with anyone. Lastly I live in a a very nice town outside a large city in connecticut. While Sterling lives in a very small famers town in the country hills of wisconsin. Thats why I think Sterling and I are very differnet people.
I agree with what Joe said because I love being out doors and going fishing and such. Except for when he says he would like to build a canoe, I think it would take alot of time and hard work.

I have a Friend like Rascal. Yes I told him who I liked. I agree with sterling decision because I think Rascal is a wild Animal should be free in the wild were it belongs.
